Reader,
Saturday morning, I was not exactly feeling ready to take on the world.
I’d spent most of the week recovering from a stomach bug, barely eating, and trying to get my energy back.
And I had a very long day ahead of me.
I was coaching my 7th-grade volleyball team at an all-day tournament. I needed to be present. I needed to lead. I needed energy I wasn’t entirely sure I had.
So before I left the house, I opened SOULutions app on my phone.
And I typed into the search:
“Help me through a really long day.”
That was it.
The app suggested several practices, and I chose two. I spent about 15 minutes in mindfulness and meditation before walking out the door.
Those 15 minutes didn’t suddenly make me feel 100%.
They did something more useful.
They helped me acknowledge where I actually was instead of fighting it. They helped me settle into my body, gather my energy, and remember that I didn’t need to feel perfect to show up fully.
And then I went and coached.
For hours.
And, by the way…
WE WON THE TOURNAMENT. 🏐🎉🏆
I’m sharing this because lately I’ve been using SOULutions myself—a lot.
I’ve been listening to the music when I want to lift my spirit and shift the energy in my day. I’ve been reaching for practices when I need to ground, reset, reconnect or simply come back to myself.
And as SOULutions approaches its first birthday, I’ve been thinking about everything it has become over this past year.
There are now hundreds of meditations, yoga classes, breathwork practices, rituals, Sacred Feminine teachings, music and deeper journeys inside.
But the number of practices isn’t really the point.
The point is what they can help you do with your life.
SOULutions isn’t somewhere you go because you’re already feeling peaceful, centered and spiritual.
It’s somewhere you can turn when you’re not.
When you’re exhausted and still have a long day ahead.
When your nervous system needs a reset.
When you’ve lost your center.
When you need courage.
When you want to shift your energy.
When something in your life is changing and you need a little support finding your way through.
Or when you simply want to feel more connected to yourself and to something greater.
You don’t even have to know which practice you need anymore.
Just tell the Smart Search what’s going on.
Start with what’s happening in the moment.
And let SOULutions help you find a practice to meet you there.
Because ultimately, that’s what I want this app to do.
Not give you more content to consume.
Help you practice here, so you can live differently out there.
If you haven’t explored SOULutions lately—or you’ve been curious about joining—come take a look at what it has become.
There’s a 7-day free trial, so you can actually use it in your own life and see what happens.
Maybe start by asking it:
“What do I need today?”
With love,
Mindy
Practice here. Live differently out there.
P.S. I have to admit, coaching my girls to a tournament victory after starting the morning feeling depleted made this one a particularly satisfying test of the app. 😉 But the real win happened before the first serve: I showed up grounded, present and ready to lead. That’s what practice is for.
